Carnival Bra Making Workshop
In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore different kinds of canvases to create art, focusing on bras as the main canvas. Rooted in my cultural heritage, this practice celebrates the artistry and storytelling of Caribbean carnival traditions. Participants will experiment with various design techniques, incorporating materials such as rhinestones, trims, feathers and fabric. Participants will learn how to prepare a bra before applying designs and bringing their unique vision to life, and then create a final design on their bra.
Carnival Headpiece Making Workshop
This workshop invites participants to explore the art of crafting vibrant carnival headpieces, inspired by Caribbean Carnival. Using materials like rhinestones, trims, feathers, and fabric, participants will learn design techniques, construction methods, and embellishment skills. By the end of this workshop, they will create unique handcrafted headpieces that embodies the spirit and artistry of Carnival.
